  • Repair work at Rogers Arena Resuming The City would like to inform residents that work on the Rogers Arena structure has resumed now that the Snow and Ice buildup from the winter months has melted away. Repairs are continuing as scheduled and updates will be provided as they become available.

This maintenance work may result in temporary discolouration of the area's water during the flushing as well as possible interruptions in service.
  • Hot Tub at the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre Now Open Great News Elliot Lake, the Hot Tub at the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre is repaired and open for use! We'll be doing a soft opening for now, so the hot tub will only be available: • During distance swims • At the end of Aquafit Due to current staffing shortages, the hot tub won't be open during public swims just yet. Once more lifeguards become certified and hired, we'll be able to open it during public swims as well.

  • Boil Water Advisory Lifted for 12 - 22 and 48 - 50 Phillip Walk, 36 Ontario and 5 Manitoba Please be advised that all bacteriological samples taken in this area have returned from the laboratory showing no evidence of contamination. We have notified the Algoma Health unit and as a result, the boil water advisory issued for this location is now rescinded.
