Whether assisting residents at a customer service counter, answering calls, maintaining our parks and roads, responding to service requests, or working behind the scenes, our employees are committed to serving our community with professionalism and care.

2026 Economic Development Strategy

Community Economic Development is the process of making a community a better place to live, play and do business!

The City of Elliot Lake is kicking off a new initiative!

Working with McSweeney and Associates, an Ontario-based consulting firm, staff are preparing a new 5-year strategy to help guide the future of Economic Development in Elliot Lake named 
“The 2026 Elliot Lake Economic Development Strategy: Moving Forward with Purpose.”

As part of this initiative, we have prepared a short survey to help residents of Elliot Lake give their feedback and help guide the future of Economic Development in Elliot Lake! The survey is now closed however you can contact the Economic Development office with ideas and feedback at any time by emailing EDO@elliotlake.ca

A local resident Working Group has been established to help guide the strategy and we will be holding a number of community engagement sessions so citizens can provide input and help guide this initiative.
