Airport
We operate the Elliot Lake Municipal Airport (YEL), located 12 km southeast of the city off Highway 108. The airport offers services, facilities and attractions for passengers, cargo and air ambulance services.

Regional Airports
The Elliot Lake Municipal Airport is centrally located between the Greater Sudbury Airport and the Sault Ste. Marie Airport. Both are within a 2-hour drive of Elliot Lake. They offer trips to within Ontario and international destinations.
You can also fly from the Chippewa County International Airport to Detroit or Minneapolis. This airport is within a three-hour drive from Elliot Lake, with an American border crossing point in between.
