Provincial Funding Announcements for 2 City Projects

On Friday, MPP Bill Rosenberg joined Mayor Wannan and Councilor Seidel in Council Chambers for two exciting announcements.

The City of Elliot Lake will be receiving provincial funding for two separate projects.  The first is funding through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation for $157,500 toward the servicing of Fox Drive to allow for the development of multiple commercial lots.  The second is a grant in the amount of $2,757,486.91 through the Province’s Housing Enabling Water Systems Fund which will support the City’s continued work at the waste water treatment plant.

The City of Elliot Lake is very appreciative of the Province’s funding and to Mr. Rosenberg for coming to Elliot Lake to make the presentation.
