The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a scheduled Water Main Flushing in the Neighbourhood 1 which includes Spruce Ave. and inner streets, Central Ave and inner streets as well as could potentially affect the downtown core.

Construction on a new Ambassadors and Visionaries Monument will begin at Westview Park on Monday, October 19th and will last until approximately October 30th.

The Voting period for the 2026 Municipal Election has now begun. The voting period will last until 8pm on October 26th. Until that time voters will be able to make their selections and cast their vote online using the information contained in your Voter Information Letter which you received in the mail. Today, Wednesday October 14th we will be closing all outdoor washrooms and outhouses for the Winter months. The washroom located at Dunlop Boat Launch will remain open until October 19th to accommodate this weekend's Geology Tours.

Beginning tomorrow, October 14th at 9AM, voters will be able to make their selections and cast their vote online using the information contained in your Voter Information Letter which you received in the mail. The City's annual Fall Leaf Pick Up will be taking place on Monday, November 16.

In order for your leaves to be picked up please ensure they are placed in a paper bag on your curb no later then 7:30am on the morning of Nov. 16.

Only leaves will be collected.
Other yard waste such as large branches or scrap metal will not be collected.

The City of Elliot Lake will be continuing its Fire Hydrant Repairs at 26 Oakland Blvd. on Tuesday, October 6. 

Beginning Wednesday, October 14, a temporary bus stop will be added directly at City Hall to drop residents off right near the Voting Help Centre.

The Kiwanis Park Splash Pad is now closed for the winter season.
