A Boil Water Advisory is being issued for 35-39 Perini Road and 12 Kilborn way. (South Industrial)

Algoma Public Health has informed the City that bacteria levels at Spruce and Spine beach have returned to normal levels and as a result the Swimming Advisory at both beaches has been lifted.

Both beaches are supervised by lifeguards daily from from Noon to 7pm.

Due to the ongoing swimming advisory at Spine Beach, organizers have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s Paddles Up event.

Please be advised the water service in this area will be shut off today, Monday August 17, 2026 at approximately 10am for an emergency water main break repair.

Please be advised the water service in your area will be shut off today Monday August 10, 2026 at approximately 9:30 a.m. for an emergency water main break repair. Please refrain from using any water until it is restored upon completion of the repairs. Occupants may experience reduced water pressure and or water discolouration for a temporary period once the water supply has been restored.
