  • Milliken Trails Closed Temporarily Please Be Aware, all Milliken area trails have been temporarily closed in order to allow BHP to install new fencing around historical shaft caps in the area. This closure as well as the new fencing is being put in place for the public’s safety and we ask that you please avoid the area while this work is being performed and respect the new fencing in the future.

  • Water Main Flushing Notice for North Industrial Area - Nov. 13th Water Main Flushing North Industrial Area - Nov. 13th from 8am to 11am The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a scheduled Water Main Flushing for the North Industrial Park which may also affect the neighbourhood #1 area (Spruce, Central, Lakeview, Poplar and any off streets) If you encounter discolouration, simply run your cold water until it clears.

  • Possible water discolouration Pearson Rd & Mississauga Area Please note that homes in the Pearson Road and Mississauga areas may experience water discolouration due to a fire incident at the landfill. If you experience any discolouration, please run your cold water tap before using any appliances such as a washing machine or dishwasher until such time as the water runs clear.

  • Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre Update - Oct 31 Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre Update October 31, 2025   Earlier today, a Special Council Meeting was held to update members of Council on the state of repair at the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre.   Staff have been engaging with the City’s insurance adjusters on ways to expedite the investigation and repairs to the facility.

  • Boil Water Advisory Lifted for 2 – 11 Stollery Place Please be advised that all bacteriological samples taken in this area have returned from the laboratory showing no evidence of contamination. We have notified the Algoma Health unit and as a result, the boil water advisory issued for this location is now rescinded.
