Winterfest Drone Show Re-Scheduled for Tuesday, Feb 10 at 7pm

Great news Elliot Lake! The Winterfest Drone Show has officially been re-scheduled to be held tomorrow night (February 10) at 7pm.
The show will be taking place in the original location, 151 Ontario Avenue downtown.

We hope to see you all out for an awesome show!

Deputy Mayor Flintoff presents to Provincial Committee Today, Deputy Mayor Flintoff attended the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs 2026 Pre-Budget Consultations held in Sudbury. The goal of his presentation was to request that the Committee make recommendations to increase the allocation to the Province’s Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund for this coming year.

Boil Water Advisory Lifted for 46 - 60 Kostuik Cres. and 44 Bouck Rd. Please be advised that all bacteriological samples taken in this area have returned from the laboratory showing no evidence of contamination. We have notified the Algoma Health unit and as a result, the boil water advisory issued for this location is now rescinded.

151 Ontario Ave Parking Lot will be closed from Noon to 10pm on February 8 for Winterfest Drone Show Our 2026 Winterfest Weekend will kick off on Thursday, February 5th, with a variety of activities and events running through Sunday, February 8th. As a finale to this exciting weekend, the City will once again host a drone show, launched from the 151 Ontario Avenue parking lot.
