  • Outdoor Skating Rink at Kiwanis Park Now Open Awesome News Elliot Lake! The Outdoor Rink located at Kiwanis Park is now open for you to lace up your skates and hit the ice with your family and friends. Like always, Please wear a helmet and follow the posted rules at the rink and always remember to respect others who may be using the rink at the same time, but most importantly remember to have fun! Temporary solar lights have been put it in place for use after dusk however a more permanent solution will be coming soon.

  • Ontario Increasing Financial Support for Huron North Shore Communities ELLIOT LAKE — The Ontario government is providing four communities in the Lake Huron North Shore area with $14,198,500 in 2025 through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF). The OMPF is the province's main general assistance grant to municipalities which is set to set to grow by $100 million over two years, increasing the total funding envelope to $600 million by 2026.
