As of this afternoon, the Explore Elliot Lake Rest Area and Trailhead at the corner of Highway 108 and 17 will be closing for the season.

Following the completion of the majority of the facility’s repairs, we are pleased to announce a phased reopening beginning Monday, September 14.

Collins Hall will be closing from September 8-21 while we give the floor a much needed refresh!

Please be advised that all bacteriological samples taken in this area have returned from the laboratory showing no evidence of contamination. We have notified the Algoma Health unit and as a result, the boil water advisory issued for this location is now rescinded.

Effective Monday August 31, 2026 a Boil Water Advisory is being issued for 36 – 59 Lakeview Road
