The City of Elliot Lake thanks our residents and businesses for their cooperation during this extreme weather event. The following is an update as of 5:30 PM on Monday March 16th.
Please note that due to the extreme weather event, the Committee of the Whole meeting, scheduled for this evening has been cancelled.

The City of Elliot Lake is currently working to clean up after a Significant Weather Event.
Please note that Elliot Lake City Hall, Public Library, Landfill, Pool and Collins Hall will be closed on Monday March 16th due to the extreme weather event.
Due to the severe weather event, both City Transit and the Handilift services are cancelled until further notice. This is to ensure the safety of users and the drivers.
Due to the significant weather conditions, Public Transit will stop running at 2:30pm on Sunday.
A significant winter storm is approaching with the possibility of up to 75cm of snow, which will create dangerous travel conditions and high-volume snow accumulation.
