Summer Closure Notice – Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre

The Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre will close for the summer beginning Friday, June 26, 2026, to allow for electrical upgrades, repairs, and maintenance.

The final scheduled swim before the closure will be Lap Swim from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on June 26. The fitness centre will remain open until 2:00 p.m. that day.

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, the pool will temporarily reopen for our free “50 Laps for 50 Years” swim on Tuesday, June 30, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The celebration will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a few brief speeches and photos, followed by lap swimming until 8:00 p.m. We invite everyone to come out and take part in this special event and help us celebrate 50 years of the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre.

All memberships will be automatically paused during the closure period.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Spruce and Spine Beach this summer and welcoming you back to the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre when the facility reopens in late August.
