The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a scheduled Water Main Flushing in the Neighbourhood 1 which includes Spruce Ave. and inner streets, Central Ave and inner streets as well as could potentially affect the downtown core.
Please be advised that all bacteriological samples taken in this area have returned from the laboratory showing no evidence of contamination.
We have notified the Algoma Health unit and as a result, the boil water advisory issued for this location is now rescinded.

Wednesday, September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In observance of this day a number of City buildings and facilities will be closed or operating on reduced hours.
The water service in this area will be shut off tomorrow, Wednesday September 23, 2026 at approximately 8AM for an emergency water main break repair.
A Boil Water Advisory is being issued for 29 – 59 Lakeview Rd. Flushing is also being performed in the area.
Due to a low chlorine residual, a Boil Water Advisory (BWA) is issued to all residents, businesses and public facilities located along this area of the water supply system.
