City of Elliot Lake Announces Leadership Transition
The City of Elliot Lake announces that Matthew Hough is no longer serving as the City's Chief Administrative Officer, effective June 29, 2026.
Mayor Andrew Wannan acknowledged Mr. Hough's contributions during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavours.
"Council appreciates Matthew's service to the City and thanks him for his contributions during his time with the Corporation. We wish Matthew every success in his future endeavours," said Mayor Andrew Wannan.
To ensure continuity of municipal operations, Natalie Bray, Director of Clerks and Planning Services, and Huda Al Tukmachy, Manager of Human Resources, have been appointed as Acting Chief Administrative Officers on an interim basis. They will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain the delivery of municipal services while Council determines the next steps in the recruitment process.
The City remains committed to providing high-quality services to residents and ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
