Water at City Facilities Being Turned on Wednesday, May 7

City Staff will be turning on many of the city facilities water system on Wednesday May 7th, 2025 starting at 8:30 am until 2 pm. This will include Burley Park and it’s washrooms, Spine Beach, Spruce Beach and their washrooms, Westview Park and the Simpson/Westview trailer park.

 

During this period there may be temporary discoloration in the water that would be caused by valve exercising. If you experience discolored water please run your cold water until it clears and do not use hot water. If the problem persists please call the Public Works Hotline at 705-915-0357.

 

The areas that may be affected are:

1. Pearson Road and Mississauga Avenue as well as side streets

2. Lawrence Avenue and Ottawa Avenue as well as side streets

3. Spruce Avenue and Central Avenue as well as side streets.
