Water Main Flushing Notice

Monday September 15th, 2025 to Friday September 19th and Monday September 22nd to Friday September 26th.

Between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm

 

The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a Water Main Flushing on Mississauga Ave. and all interior streets off of Mississauga.

 

Due to this flushing, these streets as well as other areas of the city may experience discolouration during this flushing program.

 

The maintenance work may result in temporary discolouration of the water, as well as interruptions in service. If you encounter discolouration, simply run the cold water until it clears.

 

Do not attempt to use any hot water during the flushing period as damage may be caused to your hot water tank.
