*UPDATED* Municipal Closures on Wednesday, September 30th for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Wednesday, September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In observance of this day a number of City buildings and facilities will be closed or operating on reduced hours. Please see below for a listing of all closures and schedule changes.

  • City Hall - CLOSED
  • Elliot Lake Library - CLOSED
  • Collins Hall - CLOSED
  • Rogers Arena - Open for Minor Hockey and Vikings practices only.
  • City Landfill - Open regular hours
  • City Transit - Running on regular schedule
  • Municipal Pool - Open for programming, see schedule below:
    - Elliot Lake Aquatic Club (3 Lanes) - 6:30am to 8:30am
    - Lap Swim - 6:30am to 8:30am
    - Aquafit (Shallow and Deep) - 10:15am to 11:15am
    - Lap Swim - 11:30am to 1pm
    - Deep Aquafit - 6:30pm to 7:15pm
    - Lap Swim - 7:30pm to 8:30pm

Public Works can be reached at 705-915-0357 to report emergency issues such as Water Main or Sewage Line breaks.
