Seasonal Parking Restrictions Begin Sunday, November 1
With winter just around the corner, the City of Elliot Lake would like to remind residents that our annual overnight winter parking restrictions begin this Sunday, November 1st.
Leaving our streets clear overnight helps our plow crews clear snow quickly and safely, making sure emergency vehicles can get where they need to go.
What you need to know:
• Keep vehicles off all City streets between 12 a.m. (midnight) and 7 a.m.
• Restrictions run from November 1 through March 31.
• Restriction applies every night, even if there is no snow in the forecast, as northern winter weather can change fast!
• Vehicles left on the street risk being ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.
• Please move basketball nets, decorative items, or other property away from the road curb to protect them from plow damage.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe, connected, and clear this winter! For full details visit the city's winter maintenance page or call the City By-law Department at 705-848-2287 ext. 2119.
