Rogers Arena Project Update - October 14, 2025

The City of Elliot Lake would like to provide residents with an update on the current status of the Rogers Arena Project as we begin to head into the colder months.

 

The Micro Pile work on the Arena foundation is now finished with the remaining concrete work scheduled to be completed within the next few weeks. This is a major milestone for the project and we would like to thank each and every person that helped get us to this point.

 

While this work has been taking place, Perry + Perry has been coordinating the remaining design and project schedule. In an effort to accelerate the schedule, WRD will be proceeding with the exterior wall reconstruction prior to Christmas to be ready for the exterior insulation and finish installation. This will permit for an insulated and enclosed building for interior work to commence during the colder months.
