REMINDER - Planned Hydro One Power Outage Scheduled for Sunday, June 22 from 9am to 3pm

Hydro One has scheduled a planned power outage for the Elliot Lake area on Sunday, June 22 beginning at 9am and scheduled to last until 3pm. Affected Hydro One customers have been notified via phone.

 

Safety always comes first at Hydro One. Customers are encouraged to prepare for the upcoming outage by taking the following actions:

- Making sure appliances, such as the stove, are in the off position.

- Making sure cellphones and devices are fully charged.

- Using a battery-powered alarm clock or cellphone to ensure morning alarms aren’t missed.

- Keeping refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible and using a cooler with ice for items needed during the planned outage.

- If using a generator, remember to use it in a dry area outdoors away from any open windows, doors and vents.
