Hydrant Flushing Taking Place in Neighbourhood 1 October 19th to 30th

IMPORTANT HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
From Monday October 19, 2026 to Friday October 23, 2026 and Monday October 26, 2026 to Friday October 30, 2026. 8am to 3pm daily

The City of Elliot Lake will be conducting a scheduled Water Main Flushing in the Neighbourhood 1 which includes Spruce Ave. and inner streets, Central Ave and inner streets as well as could potentially affect the downtown core.

Please see attached map of effected areas.

The maintenance work is done to improve water quality to Elliot Lake residents. This may result in temporary discolouration and reduced pressure, as well as interruptions in service.

If you encounter discolouration, simply run the cold water until it clears.
Do not attempt to use any hot water during the flushing period as damage may be caused to your hot water tank
