Frozen Water Lines Possible due to Cold Temperatures

Due to the very cold weather, we are recommending homeowners to let your cold water run as a preventative measure to keep your pipes from freezing. A small flow, approximately the diameter of a pencil, is all that is required to reduce the risk of frozen service.

 

It is important to note that the City cannot guarantee that your service can be restored in the event that it does freeze.

 

We would suggest that you continue to run the water until the frost leaves the ground this spring which is usually in late April.
