City Roads And Sidewalks Now In A “State Of Repair” Due To Recent Weather

The City is aware of the situation with the side roads being in a state of repair from the last snowstorm and the thawing and freezing.

 

Public Works crews are working diligently at clearing the accumulated slush and ice off the roadways, fire lanes, sidewalks, and transit bus stops to meet normal maintenance standards.

During this time, all roads and sidewalks maintained by the City are considered to be in a “state of repair” until further notice. Drivers and pedestrians should use an appropriate level of caution when travelling during this event. The parking by-law remains in effect, however, during a winter event motorists are also asked to not park on city streets during the day. This will assist in the efficiency of maintaining the roads.
