A&W opens its doors in Elliot Lake

Mayor Andrew Wannan celebrated the grand opening of the Elliot Lake A&W location with owners Mark and Gagan Thursday morning alongside a supportive group of Council members as well as City and A&W staff and excited customers.

“It feels like it’s been a long time in the works, but we are extremely happy to see this new location open.” Said the Mayor. “The place looks beautiful. Congratulations to the whole team!” He added “It’s exciting that the city is able to attract such an iconic national franchise. It demonstrates that Elliot Lake is a strong and growing community.”

Owners Mark and Gagan commented “We are so proud to officially call Elliot Lake home. Getting this location built and opened has been a true labor of love, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible warmth, patience, and support from this community.
