Ash Tree Removal on Ontario Avenue

The City would like to inform the public that several ash trees along Ontario Ave. are being removed due to an infestation of the Emerald Ash Borer. This invasive insect has caused significant damage to ash trees across the region.

 

For the public’s safety, the removal of these weakened trees is being carried out as a precaution to prevent potential hazards. The City will be looking at options to replace the trees at a later date.
