Andrew Ault appointed as new Director of Finance and Treasurer, effective April 14, 2025

Andrew brings a wealth of expertise in finance, management, and strategic oversight, making him an excellent addition to our leadership team. With an extensive educational background, Andrew is currently completing his PhD in Finance at Carleton University, with his research focusing on innovative methodologies in financial economics.

 

Andrew has also held roles in consulting, teaching, and healthcare finance, where he developed strategic plans and led feasibility studies for municipalities, Indigenous groups, and private sector projects. His ability to collaborate across diverse teams, coupled with his expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and governance, will be instrumental in supporting our financial stewardship and organizational growth.

 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Andrew has contributed significantly to various community organizations, including serving on boards and committees for the North Channel Literacy Council, Children’s Centre Foundation, and SHIFT Young Professionals Network. His dedication to community involvement and leadership is reflective of the values we uphold at the City of Elliot Lake.
