151 Ontario Ave Parking Lot will be closed from Noon to 10pm on February 8 for Winterfest Drone Show

Our 2026 Winterfest Weekend will kick off on Thursday, February 5th, with a variety of activities and events running through Sunday, February 8th. As a finale to this exciting weekend, the City will once again host a drone show, launched from the 151 Ontario Avenue parking lot. The drone show will begin at 7:00 pm and last approximately 10 minutes. Set-up and take-down require additional time, and as a result, we will be temporarily closing the parking lot to allow for preparations. 

To ensure a successful event, please note the following details: 

• The 151 Ontario Avenue parking lot will be closed on Sunday, February 8th, from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
• We kindly ask that staff, residents, and patrons remove their vehicles by 12:00 pm. Vehicles remaining in the lot after this time will be unable to leave, as the parking area will be barricaded for the duration of the closure.
• Alternative nearby parking locations, as well as recommended public viewing areas for the drone show, are identified on the attached map.
• The parking lot will reopen by 10:00 pm on Sunday, February 8th for regular public use.
