Elliot Lake 42nd Annual Santa Claus Parade
Elliot Lake’s 42nd Annual Santa Claus Parade was once again static.
It was held Friday, November 26th, 2021, from 6pm - 8pm, under the theme: Twelve Days of Christmas.
Thank you to all of this year's participants, volunteers, and to everyone who came out to support this event.

North Shore Challenge Drag Race
The annual North Shore Challenge Drag Race is northern Ontario's biggest motor sports event of the year. Hosted at the Elliot Lake Airport dragway, the competition is a 1/8 mile drag race and will take place on July 15th to 17th 2022. More information

Lumberjack Days
The annual Lumberjack Days takes place on the first weekend in August at Mississagi Provincial Park.
The event incorporates lumberjack competitions that allow everyone to test their lumberjack skills and challenge their family, friends and coworkers.
This is a family friendly event with lots of activities for the kids.
Fun and games start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and include wood carving, lumberjack skills, face painting, voyageur canoe rides, hiking and many other fun activities.
Lumberjack competitions include two-person sawing, log rolling, axe throwing and more, with open events on Saturday and the Lumberjack Challenge on Sunday.
