Summer in the Park Concert Series
The Summer in the Park Concert Series is back for 2025 presented by Seidel's BrandSource Home Furnishings!
Summer is fast approaching, and to help celebrate 70 years of Elliot Lake we have an extra special summer concert series lineup including talent from all over Elliot Lake, Algoma and Ontario!
Starting us off on June 30th are local favourites 4 Wheel Country! Veterans of the Summer Concert Series, 4 Wheel Country are a local Elliot Lake Band whose members met and began to play music together 5 years ago. All three are experienced musicians and have performed at a variety of venues in Elliot Lake, along the North Shore and the Gateway Casino in Sault Ste. Marie.
Next up on July 18th we have local favourite Harmony! Veterans of the Summer in the Park Concert Series, Debbie, Sheila and Mike have played at festivals and events all across Algoma and Sudbury with their relaxed acoustic style and make an excellent addition to this year's concert series!
The 3rd performance is a special one. To help celebrate 70 years of Elliot Lake we have added a special extra show to this year's lineup on August 3rd featuring an amazing trio from Ottawa, Jessica Pearson and the East Wind! Audiences will enjoy versatile Americana stomp-and-holler, upbeat Celtic sing-and-sway, and intimate, high-lonesome folk ballads, replete with singalong choruses, energetic audience banter, and the occasional unexpected party trick.
Our penultimate show on August 15th will feature a group well known to Elliot Lakers that always puts on a great show, Rusted Spoons! Performing together for several years now, Elizabeth and John perform a variety of music that is sure to delight the whole crowd.
And finally, the finale of the Summer in the Park Concert Series on September 12 will feature the always entertaining Mike Lynch Band! Their brand of traditional country music is as real, honest, and authentic as it comes. Featuring a whole lotta great Canadian songs and classic style country sounds, there's no better way to wrap up the 2025 Summer in the Park Concert Series.
Admission as always is totally free, and audience members are asked to bring their own seating for outdoor performances. All shows will begin at 6pm and will be performed outdoors at Westview Park in Elliot Lake. In the event of rain the concert will be moved to the Collins Hall at the same date and time. (Due to a scheduling conflict, the June 30th show featuring 4 Wheel Country cannot be moved to Collins Hall.
If the show cannot be played outdoors due to weather the show will be cancelled.)
