Lumberjack Days - August 3rd and 4th at Mississagi Park

The schedule for this year's Lumberjack Days hosted by Mississagi Provincial Park is finally here!

Bring the family up to the park on August 3rd and 4th for a weekend filled with family fun and games!

Saturday, August 3rd:

Kid-Friendly Fun & Games:

Activities: BBQ (begins at 11am), Face painting, Colouring contest, Axe throw, Duck race, Leap frog, Trappers challenge, Balloon animals, Snake rock painting

Adult Competition:

Teams and individuals must pre-register

Events:

1:00 PM: Canoe racing

2:00 PM: Log burling

3:00 PM: Log toss

BBQ opens at 11 AM

Sunday, August 4th:

Adult Competitions Continue:

9:30 AM: Axe throw

10:00 AM: 2 person cross cut

10:45 AM: Underhand cut

1:00 PM: Chainsaw obstacle course

2:00 PM: Chainsaw event & modified saw

Shuttle Buses are available. There will be 1 shuttle on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.

On Saturday the bus will leave the ELSS parking lot at 11:30am and leave the park at 4pm

On Sunday the bus will leave the ELSS parking lot at 9am and 1pm and will leave the park at 12:30pm and sometime between 4:30and 5pm

Summer in the Park Concert Series

The lineup for the 2024 Summer in the Park Concert Series presented by Seidel's Brandsource is officially here!

Thank you to everyone that applied to be in this year's series, after careful consideration we now have out final lineup for this year's concert series.

This year's performers are...

- 4 Wheel Country - June 2nd

- Kaiser North - July 21st

- Front Porch - August 11th

- Mr. and Mrs. - September 15th

We can't wait to see you all out at Westview Park all summer to enjoy these amazing musical talents! Shows begin at 2pm and admission is totally free! Please bring your own seating for the outdoor performances. In the event of inclement weather the shows will be moved to Collins Hall.
