You can join many active, outdoor and recreational clubs in Elliot Lake.

Snowmobiling

You can join the Elliot Lake Snowbirds if you enjoy snowmobiling. The Snowbirds maintain about 270 km of groomed snowmobile trails around the city and surrounding area.

The Snowbirds offer:

  • Casual and coordinated rides
  • Snowmobile events
  • Learn-to-ride programs
  • Snowmobile licence training

ATV riding

If you enjoy off-road or ATV riding, you can join the Elliot Lake ATV Club. The club is one of Ontario's first-ever organized ATV clubs and its members maintain trails around the city and surrounding area. Members often plan social events and coordinated rides.

Trails and outdoors

If you enjoy walking or hiking along the area's trails, you can join the Coureurs de Bois Voyageur Trail Outdoors Club. The casual hiking club maintains 250 km of trails in the Elliot Lake area.

The club offers easy and intermediate activities in:

  • Kayaking
  • Snow-shoe hikes
  • Cross-country skiing
  • Special events

Cross-Country Skiing and Biking

If you enjoy cross-country skiing or Biking, you can join the Elliot Lake Cross-country Ski and Bike Club. The club helps maintain and develop Cross-Country Skiing and Biking trails around Elliot Lake and the surrounding area, including the Spine Beach trails.

Golf

Stone Ridge at Elliot Lake is a championship 18-hole golf course. The 6,800-yard course was designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Baker and features breathtaking views of rock cliffs, boreal forest and beautiful Ryan Lake. The course includes a driving range, pro shop, dining room and fully licensed clubhouse.
