Do you want to give back to your community?
Volunteering for the City of Elliot Lake is a great way to engage with and give back to your community. Our volunteer program offers a welcoming space that creates learning opportunities and fosters skill development. The more you volunteer, the more your community benefits. For Students, volunteer hours may count towards the 40 hours of community service needed to graduate from Ontario High Schools, can be added to resume or post-secondary school application, and provides an opportunity for career exploration. For adults, volunteering introduces you to new social networks, promotes physical and mental wellness and allows you to contribute to the growth of the City. In all cases, it allows you to be part of the action!
By becoming a volunteer and a part of the Volunteer Committee, you will have the opportunity to volunteer at Municipal Events and with Local Community Service Group Events.
