The City of Elliot Lake maintains Woodlands Cemetery.
Our Clerks department keeps a database of all reserved plots and information on all those interred. The cemetery is non-denominational and has areas set aside for regular plots, cremation plots, infant plots and niches.

| You can find Woodlands Cemetery on the corner of Ottawa Avenue and Lisbon Road. Woodlands Cemetery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day. |
| Scheduling a Burial |
|
Burials can take place from Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 2:30pm. Saturday burials are at an extra cost. Please email the Clerks Department to make arrangements to schedule a burial. |

Purchasing a plot or a niche |
|
You can purchase a plot or niche for your loved one by making an appointment to see the Clerks Department at City Hall. We will walk you through the process and assist in the next steps. |

Annual Cleanup |
|
We remove any seasonal or withered decorations that residents may have placed on their plots by October 31. For more information, view the Woodlands Cemetery By-law or call the Clerks department at 705-848-2287 ext. 2120 |
