PLEASE NOTE: the City will no longer be offering the Age-Friendly delivery service as of Friday, February 11, 2022. Final orders must be place prior to Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 7:00pm.
Beginning January 6th, 2022, at 12:00 pm (noon), the City of Elliot Lake is pleased to offer a grocery shopping and delivery service for community members who are in isolation. The city is working with staff at both Lyle’s No Frills and Foodland to facilitate this service.
Health risks from Covid-19 and the Omicron variant remain a concern and the City of Elliot Lake continues to encourage all at risk residents to continue to use the Age Friendly Delivers service or have friends/family do their shopping for them.
If you are over 70 or immunocompromised, why not take advantage of this free service and allow the City to do your grocery shopping? This service is for those who do not have a local contact or family to shop and deliver essential items like food and hygiene products.
