The Public Library is partnering with Mango - the only personalized, adaptive language-learning experience that provides the tools and guidance you need to expand your language skills wherever and however you want to learn. ~ CURBSIDE PICKUP GUIDELINES~
During the province wide lockdown, the library will continue with curbside pickup. (updated January 13, 2021)
Patrons can request materials by placing a hold online or by phone. Curbside pickup will be available to patrons at the following times:
Monday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuesdays 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Thursdays 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Fridays 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Patrons can place holds or request by phone a maximum of 4 DVDs (per household), 5 audiobooks, 5 children's books, 5 magazines and 5 YA/adult items each week.
To place a hold online:
- From the main page of our website, click browse online catalogue – right hand side under popular links
- New tab will open – click login- top centre
- In top field enter library card number (no spaces)
- In bottom field enter PIN – books
- Change search field from everything to library search
- Search for books you would like
- Select book – click place hold button
- Small box will appear – click place hold again to get confirmation (success)
- When finished selecting books and placing holds click logout
To request books by telephone:

You will be required to provide your name, library card number, title and author of books you would like.
When your holds are ready staff will contact you and a pickup time will be arranged.
When you arrive at the library you can call the library circulation desk or ring buzzer at main door. You will be required to return to a designated spot to wait – 2 meters from entrance. A staff member will have material ready in a plastic bag which will be placed on a table outside the main entrance. Once the staff member has returned inside you can pick up your bag of material.
All material must be returned into the drop box outside the library. Returned material will be quarantined for 72 hours before being put back into circulation.
