Office of the Fire Marshal

The Office of the Fire Marshal contributes to an environment for Ontario residents that is safe from fire and other public safety hazards. This office provides leadership and expertise in reducing and eliminating these hazards.

Public Safety Canada

Public Safety Canada provides helpful information on emergency management planning, how to develop a strategic emergency management plan and more information on natural disasters that can affect you.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is a global, non-profit organization that works to eliminate death, injury property and economic loss due to fire and electrical hazards.

StaySafe.org is an online resource that can help you learn about hazards around your home. Keep your family safe with the proper knowledge of what to do when disaster strikes.

Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association (OMFPOA)

The Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association (OMFPOA) represents about 200 fire departments across the province. They represent the interests of the following groups to deliver services to Ontarians:
