The City of Elliot Lake has a Community Improvement Plan.
We contracted a planning firm to create this plan. The firm drafted it in 2008. The Economic Development Committee passed Amendments in 2017.

Improvement area and incentive goal
The goal is to create inviting areas that encourage sidewalk activities. An example of this is window-shopping. Buildings should express interesting visuals and individuality. They should also preserve architectural heritage.
The incentives should not limit creativity. They should create a diverse and unified municipal appearance.
