The City of Elliot Lake is a great place to enjoy off-road riding! To help keep everyone safe, there are a few important rules to keep in mind as we head into summer. Off-road vehicles (ATVs, side-by-sides, UTVs, etc.) are not permitted on City streets or across Highway 108, except for direct travel between your residence and designated trails. Every year, the City of Elliot Lake offers a Municipal Hazardous and Special Waste Collection Day. This day allows residents to drop off all hazardous materials that should not be disposed of during our weekly curbside garbage collection program or Landfill Amnesty Week Please note, this is the only time this year that the City will accept Hazardous waste for disposal.
