A Good Samaritan found this male grey tabby in the Mississauga Avenue area. The cat was brought to the City Animal Shelter for safekeeping. This cat did not have a tag or collar affixed.
Anyone who maybe missing a cat or has information on who may own this cat is asked to contact the Elliot Lake By-Law Department at 705-848-2287 ext. 2119 during normal business hours.

As of January 1, 2026 the Ontario Fire Code requires the installation of additional carbon monoxide alarms, regardless of building age. This new legislation applies to residential homes and care facilities served by a forced-air fuel-burning appliance not contained within the building.
