Work continues at the Rogers Arena

Despite the winter weather arriving in Elliot Lake, crews continue to move forward with the structural repair work at the Rogers Arena (formerly Centennial Arena).

 

In the images, crews can be seen drilling test holes for the micro piles. Once the test holes are complete, crews can begin installing the micro piles as part of the structural support design. Additionally, the construction teams are continuing with important foundation work to support the building’s columns.

 

All of this work is in an effort to ensure that the arena is safe and useable for the foreseeable future.
