City Landfill Closed until further notice due to Fire

There is currently a fire situation at the Elliot Lake Landfill.

Scott Road and the Landfill are closed until further notice and Residents are instructed to stay clear of the area to allow Fire Crews to do their job.

Residents throughout the city are urged to take precautions as air quality could be affected. Measures include limiting time outdoors and ensuring that windows in your home are closed.
